Carnegie Healthcare provides selected services for eligible individuals through the New Jersey Division of Developmental Disabilities. Our person-centered supports help individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities build independence, strengthen daily living skills, participate in their communities, and work toward meaningful personal and employment goals.
Who We Serve
We support eligible adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in New Jersey, working with participants, families, caregivers, and support coordinators to provide authorized services aligned with each individual’s plan and goals.
Our Individual Supports services help participants build the adaptive, communication, and daily living skills needed to thrive at home and in the community. Supports are tailored to each individual’s goals and may include assistance with self-care, routines, household tasks, communication, and greater independence in everyday life.
Our Community-Based Supports services help individuals participate more fully in daily life through one-to-one support at home and in the community. Services may include skill-building, social development, self-care support, structured activities, mentoring, and guidance that promotes independence, confidence, and inclusion.
Our Supported Employment services help individuals prepare for, obtain, and maintain meaningful work in competitive or self-employment settings. Services may include job coaching, travel training, benefits support, workplace instruction, and ongoing employment-related guidance.
